MSA Tango: Carolina Cerisola & Jordi Caballero
Carolina Cerisola was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At 18 she embarked on her first Latin American tour with the famous Venezuelan singer, Jose Luis Rodriguez « El Puma ». At 19 she moved to the United States and continued with her dancing career as the partner of one of the best salsa dancers in the world, Johnny Vazquez. Together they toured Europe with the international salsa congress. In 2001 they took first place in the largest world salsa championship in Los Angeles. After 6 years as a world renowned salsa dancer, Carolina joined Forty Deuce, where she has her own show.
Jordi Caballero is a two-time American Choreography Award nominee as well as a MethodFest Film Festival nominee. He is a graduate of the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts. His love and passion for the arts has enabled him to work for a host of celebrities including Cher, Madonna, the Spice Girls 2008 Reunion World Tour, Tony Bennett and Jennifer Lopez among others.
Jordi has also worked in many Films and TV shows including Chris Columbus’ film musical Rent, Dancing with the Stars, CSI Miami, Nip-Tuck, Brothers & Sisters, Sex and the City, The Shield, and Entourage. Jordi has proudly served as a Guest choreographer and Judge for the hit Bravo Show Step it up and Dance. He just finished work on the feature film Four Christmases starring Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn and Mary Steenburgen, scheduled to be released November 2008. His goal is to present audiences with the beauty and power of authentic and entertaining Latin infused work.
