A charming dancer, Emily moved to NYC at age 18 to follow her dream of training to become a professional dancer. This fall she been selected to receive a full merit scholarship as she completes her forth year in Joffrey Ballet School’s accredited trainee program.

« I couldn’t believe it when I auditioned for Joffrey Ballet School and my dream came true. I could dance every single day and do what I love every day.

There’s long days and long rehearsals. It’s exhausting but it’s great. You feel such a difference. You are working so hard every single day. And I can feel in my body that I have come a long way. I really improved on a lot of things. There’s a lot going on but it’s really exciting. The energy level is really high and it feels so great!

I’m so excited I chose to come to the Joffrey Ballet School this summer. It’s been a great experience and I’ve learned so much. I don’t think I would have gotten this much experience anywhere else. »
